- Hitch proposed to Alma on their way back from Germany, (scouting locations for The Prude's Fall. Hitch asked Alma to marry him while on board.
- Hitch sends his regards to a directer named Cutts because without him, Alfred would've never ended up as the great directer he was.
-before, Graham Cutts was the director and had Hitchcock working alongside him as assistant director. It was unfortunate for Hitch and his wife who claimed to have contributed more to the film but did not get credits for it. Obviously, Cutts was dependant on others to carry out the movie especially Hitch, who was capable of performing many useful skills on set. Hitch can be singled out to be the most well educated film worker everysince he worked at the UFA (universum-film Aktien Gesellschaft p.61), a german studio where he met brilliant german directors. Fritz Land, G.W. Pabst were idols of Hitch. Murnau had the biggest influence on Hitch. Alfred said that 'from Murnau, I learned how to tell a story without words.'
